VEHICLE LOCATING SYSTEM Dr Laird has received the vehicle locating system to trial from the Scottish Ambulance Service. The device is very simple to fit - when Dr Laird is available it is simply plugged into the cigarette lighter in his car (and unplugged when not available). Discussions are on-going as to when the system could be rolled out to all Immediate Care Doctors who wish this system, and also the funding for such a system.
