Brian Carlin, the Assistant Director of Education at BASICS Scotland is leaving on 8 May 2009 to take up a post at University College Dublin. Brian has been a regular instructor on BASICS Scotland courses for the last 12 years and has been working as Assistant Director of Education for the past 5 years, during which time he has made a major contribution to BASICS Education Scotland.
Funding is immediately available to replace Brian and it is anticipated that the vacancy will be advertised within the next few weeks on the NES and SHOW websites. In the meantime our educational programme will continue uninterrupted.
Obviously BASICS Scotland will wish to recognise Brian's contribution to the organisation and further details will follow.
