  BASICS Scotland are currently in the process of developing an online modular IMC course based on the established weekend immediate medical care courses. The online course will consist of approximately 10 to 12 modules which will cover topics such as preparing to be a responder, driving issues, airway/breathing/circulation management, spinal care etc. A variety of different scenarios will be presented for candidates to attempt and then receive personalised feedback. At this point in time, it is envisaged that candidates will have the opportunity to undergo at least a half day hands-on skills refresher session with a member of the BASICS Instructor team. It is hoped to have the course available early in the New Year and more information will be posted online and sent to BASICS Scotland members in due course.
