BASICS SCOTLAND ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM 2010

This year's annual BASICS Scotland Conference will be held at Macdonald Inchyra Hotel , Falkirk ON
4th SEPTEMBER 2010.

 

  This years conference theme is about Scotland's extreme weather and remote locations:

                              "Extremes of Pre Hospital Care"

 

Continuing pre-hospital education is vital to improving patient care and provides an excellent opportunity to bring together many Medical disciplines . The BASICS Scotland Conference is designed to meet the educational objectives of pre-hospital and hospital personnel.

This Annual conference is targeted to all pre-hospital and hospital healthcare providers including Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Firefighters, Mountain Rescue, RNLI and First-Responders. Topics are presented by experts in the fields of Pre Hospital Care, Mountain Injury, Extremes of environment, and Emergency Medicine.  

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr Richard Villar from the disaster relief effort sent to Haiti by Merlin.

Accompanying this year's conference will be a wide selection of indoor and outdoor exhibits including a Fire Extrication Demo from Central Scotland Fire and Rescue International, followed by an evening meal and entertainment event.
